メルボルンの学生は18万9千人でその3分の1が海外から来ている留学生だ。ある調査で世界で最も住みやすい町に2回ランクインしているほど、学生に人気がある都市だ。ラグビー、サーフィンクラブ、オーストラリアフットボールなどいろんなアクティビティを楽しむことができる。学生は様々な割引制度が受けられ、メルボルン自転車シェアにも割引がある。オーストラリアの法律でヘルメット着用が義務づけられているが、利用する際に一緒に貸してくれる。
